Events of the week (12/9/2019 to 12/15/2019)

Do you ever feel like you can't keep up with all the food/drink events around Boston, because there's too many? Don't worry. That's why I created this part of Never Too Full website to share with you some of the fun and delicious events.


Weekday

  • All week long — Blaze Pizza Study Buddy BOGO All students in Boston area rejoice! Bring your student ID into Blaze Pizza and get buy one get one deal to share with a friend. Or if you prefer, have two personalized pizzas for yourself. $0

  • 12/9 Monday — Glenfiddich Tasting A scotch expert, Tracie Franklin, will host a single-malt scotch tasting event featuring Glenfiddich in the private Library space at Explorateur. Come enjoy complimentary appetizers and learn about delicious Glenfiddich scotch. $15


  • 12/10 Tuesday — Coquito Mixology Class with Puerto Rican Appetizers A Cuban restaurant in South End, Dona Habana, is teaming up with Vejigantes, Puerto Rican restaurant also in South End, to host a coquito, Puerto Rican holiday drink (similar to eggnog), making class while providing complimentary appetizers. $20

  • 12/10 Tuesday — The Art of French Macarons As anyone who has attempted to bake the adorable delicious french treats before knows, macarons are difficult to make from scratch. Chef Chelsey Erickson of Finesse Pastries will demonstrate her method for making the perfect macaron this week at Time Out Market in Fenway. The ticket will include a complimentary glass of wine and a box of macarons. $65

  • 12/11 Wednesday — Holiday Wine Dinner Celebrate wine down Wednesday by feasting on e course pre-fixe dinner at Back Bay Social Club. There will be a welcome treat of mulled wine and wine pairing for each course of the meal. $40

  • 12/11 Wednesday — Allergen Friendly Gingerbread House Do you or someone you know have food allergies that prevents you from using store-bought gingerbread houses? Don't worry, Jennifer Lee's Allergen Free Bakery in Boston Public Market is hosting multiple sessions of allergen friendly gingerbread house building events. $50

  • 12/11 Wednesday — Holiday Tea & Chocolate Tasting Everyone knows that chocolate goes well with wine, beer, and coffee. Tea Forte aims to show you how chocolate can be paired with tea at their holiday tea and chocolate tasting event. $5

  • 12/12 Thursday — Macaron + Wine/Beer Pairing Trivia Macarons, local beer and wine, and trivia with a chance to win cash. What more can you want in an event? The ticket will include one complimentary drink, 4 macarons (by Boston Bonbon) and 4 beer or wine pairing, entry into trivia, and an exclusive macaron + wine/beer pairing menu (items available for purchase). $30

  • 12/12 Thursday — Brewery Spelling Bee Two local breweries, Lamplighter Brewery and Untold Brewery collaborated to created an IPA called Spelling Bee. If they didn't host a spelling bee on the release day, it would be a missed o-p-p-o-r-t-u-n-i-t-y. If you're confident about your spelling skills after a glass or two of beer, challenge others to a spelling bee competition. $10

Weekend

  • 12/13 Friday — Boba & Cheese Tea Are you a bubble tea lover like me, or would like to learn more about it? Either way, this event sounds perfect for everyone. MEM Tea in Davis Square loves to host tea seminars and this time it's all about bubble tea and the cheese topping. $35

  • 12/14 Saturday — Flour's 10th Annual Cookie Swap Bring few dozens of your favorite cookies to Flour and swap them with others from the community and get a cookbook including each recipe. The ticket proceeds will go to Catie's Closet (a non-profit organization to help students living in poverty or are homeless). $35

  • 12/15 Sunday — Superfood Society Chats: Stay well in the Winter Join Jennifer Hanway, a Holistic Nutritionist, at The KITCHEN to discussing how to tweak your diet to improve your immune system and mood. The event is free, but you're encouraged to bring items to donate to Rosie's Place, a women's shelter. $0

  • 12/15 Sunday — Sake and Cheese Beer and cheese pairing and wine and cheese pairing events are dime a dozen, why not try something new and attend a sake and cheese event for once? Marina Giordano, a sake educator, will teach you about sake and how it can be paired with cheese. $45

  • 12/15 Sunday — WINE CLASS: Beautiful Bubbles Don't you agree that few weeks before we ring in the new decade is the perfect time to learn more about sparkling wine? Rebel Rebel, an amazing wine bar in Bow Market in Somerville, is hosting a "bubbly run-down" to educate people on everything sparkling wine. $30

  • 12/15 Sunday — Macaron Making Intro Class Macarons make the perfect holiday gift and post holiday meal dessert. Learn about the history of these tasty treats and watch Rita Ng of Boston Bonbon while she demonstrates how to make them. You will even get to make your own filling and get to take home a box of 4 macarons. $42
