From Foodie Adventures to Crafting Punny Greeting Cards: My Etsy Journey

I love making food, eating food, sharing food, and talking about food. But I also have non-food related hobbies such as photography, traveling, and making art. For the past few years, I have made it my goal to work on at least one art project a year which usually ended up happening during office shut down at the end of the year (see below for some of my end of the year art projects). I have enjoyed making greeting cards, doing mini acrylic painting projects, or even occasional pencil sketches.

Last year, my end of year art project was starting an Etsy shop. I decided to combine my passion for food (and science), well crafted puns, making art, and giving people a good chuckle by starting my own Etsy shop focusing on unique food and science pun greeting cards.

Currently, I’m selling digital downloads of greeting cards that you can print at the convenience of your home or at Staples/Office Depot. This is perfect for procrastinators like me who shop for gifts and cards last minute.

Puns get a bad rep. Yes, sometimes it's cringe-y when someone forces a pun. But I still enjoy occasional well crafted puns and it's a huge plus when they are about food or science, two of my passions. For the past 8 monts, the Etsy shop has been more of a hobby, one that costs money from learning new software and paying for listing fees and ads, but it's been a lot of fun making things that someone could gift to their friends and family to give them a good laugh just like I did when I made it.

Below are examples of my greeting cards perfect for Valentine's Day, Anniversary, or Birthdays. Come check out Never Too Full Etsy shop and let me know if you have any feedback, suggestions, or even requests! If you like the cards, I would appreciate it if you make a purchase to gift to a foodie (or 10, since you can print as many as you like) in your life.

Visit Never Too Full Etsy shop to dish out some smiles with egg-cellent greeting cards with pho-nominal food puns.
